Located in Moyock, NC – Southland Restaurant and Catering offers southern style, comfort food, buffet catering for all special events such as wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, awards banquets, special occasions and more. Our specialty is our Southern Fried Chicken,  North Carolina BBQ and Seafood. We also feature many other menu favorites for all tastes!

Our locations covered include mainland Currituck, and surrounding areas such as Elizabeth City, Gates County, Edenton, Hertford, Suffolk VA, Chesapeake VA, Virginia Beach VA and beyond. We utilize a mobile kitchen for offsite events.

All special events are priced per person and will be inclusive of all staffing and service as well as special occasion buffet setup, salad, appetizer, beverage station, and placesetting for your event. Each event is truly unique and has its own considerations for pricing. Quotes are easy and PROMPT and we would love to meet with you and discuss your ideas and plans for your event.

We reserve dates with a simple 25% deposit based on menu, location, and number attending. We can schedule for an event venue visit, menu consultation with our catering staff, and tasting of our selections. Events are booked well in advance and are limited based on availability and the seasonal demand we have during our busiest months such as May – Oct.
